Motion Work

In my motion design course, I opted to craft an "explainer video" for a client, and I selected a local coffee shop in Staunton, VA—a place with deep personal connections, a place I have spent plenty of time in. The establishment's branding and coffee packaging have always appealed to me. Using Procreate, I personally designed the majority of the illustrations, except for a few that I licensed through Adobe. It was then put together in Illustrator and Adobe After Effects. The central theme of my project is to highlight the intricate steps involved in preparing coffee through the use of a French press.
